It won’t be built around HD like the 360, but it still will run very well on HD or even on projection systems. With displacement mapping, it could even look better.
Also, I read an article by another developer that claims that the 2.5 times as powerful bit is based on real but outdated developers kits, and that the bigger developers now have more advanced systems with the real Broadway and Hollywood chipsets that are more in line with the 360. (The two are being made by the same manufacturers, you know.) Since it will not need as much power to display the same graphics, this is another indication that, on standard definition television sets at least, we could see better graphics out of the Revolution.
But do graphics really matter in this next generation? Are we not beyond graphics by now?
