I remember at E3 2004, Nintendo said that the DS would be released under a new name before the end of the year. They got it half right. The time range for release remained, but the DS kept its name and thus proved him wrong. That's likely why they're only saying "Revolution" is simply a codename and they aren't saying if it's going or staying. They don't want to announce anything they don't have sorted out as they did at E3 2004.
Do you think the Revolution will keep its name?
I have set the poll to close at the start of E3 2006. |

Why should they now change the name?
Everybody is waiting for the release date of the "Nintendo Revolution" and then of a sudden there will be a "Nintendo SuperCube" release?
I don't think so.
The world is waiting for a "Revolution". |
