What I don't understand, is how can the ps3 be 10x more powerful? The revolution has a 256mb SPRAM GPU, that means the ps3 has 2,560mb of SPRAM. That hasn't even been invented yet, or are they going to hold the ps3 back for 8 years?

The specks are good, but the games are what matters and I believe there is promise in this new machine.

ha!
you guys say specs only go so far...
eat your words:
the ps3 is gonna be more than 10x more powerful than the revolution
and "games are more important than specs"
what games do you have? yoshi star island? star fox assault?
star trek geeks everywhere revel in your stupidity
Mascot? You want a mascot? you guys have a plumer! Wow... you beat Halo and ps2 games for sure
And btw... the revolution's most interesting feature...
you can play multiplayer by yourself! YAY! dorks without friends everywhere sigh in relief, for no longer will they be doomed to singleplayer:
"yay! my left hand won again!"

Fact is.... Nintendo knows what to do, Nintendo has a very dedicated structure. Sony and Microsoft don't have dedicated Mascots. yeah there'a always gonna be "EYE CANDY" and then there are those games that you'll always wanna play over and over again, and that's Nintendo, and yeah i do agree that nintendo messed up with the N64 "Quality over Quantity" strategy, yeah Sony has GTA and MGS among others,so does Xbox, and NOW these days, Game makers are keeping the hole EXCLUSIVE pact for a few months, like RE4. the Revolution will be gamecube compatible, I am all games, I am Nintendo.
