Revolution confirmed for 2006
Nintendo of Europe has announced on their website that 2006 will include the launch of their much anticipated next-generation console, codenamed Revolution, and that there are secrets yet to be revealed about the new machine.
The exact release date of the Revolution is yet to be announced, but the news will still come as a relief to some gamers who had feared that the Revolution would not be available until 2007.
Nintendo has also confirmed suspicions that there is more to the new console than what has so far been reported.
“But if you think that’s all there is to know about Revolution, think again… 2006 is going to be very interesting indeed,”
they said on their article after listing already released features about the machine.
More details are set to be announced at Nintendo’s pre-E3 press conference, which is scheduled for May 9.

Meanwhile, in France, there is further evidence that Nintendo will definitely release the Revolution this year after Nintendo of Europe sent out a postcard to French journalists proclaiming, “In 2006 Nintendo launches a Revolution.”
